Offered for sale is an antique copper bed warmer that is 45" long. The pan is 11 " diameter ,3" deep and weighs 4 lbs. When the lid is closed, it is 3 3/4" deep. This copper is heavy with beautiful hand made craftsmanship. I tried to show the pattern of decoration on the lid, however it is faint after all these years. We bought this in Europe on a buying trip. It dates to the early 1800's. Note the handmade riveting and workmanship. Amazing , excellent condition for its age.
