Offered for sale is an early Haviland coffee pot, circa 1880's with the initials CFH - Charles Field Haviland and the initials GDM, used 1881-1889.
The GDM stands for Gerard, Dufraesseix & Morel, a company taken over by Haviland.
This rather rare extremely gorgeous piece of Haviland is in excellent
condition-no chips, cracks. Some loss of gold from underside of the spout. Stands 9 inches to the top of the finial and measures 9 inches from spout to and including the handle. A classic piece of early Haviland that you will be proud to display in your china cupboard.
