Offered for sale is an antique English flame mahogany pedestal sideboard with a brass rail gallery, gadrooned carved rim, and double full columns on pedestal cabinets. Top has a plate holder that runs the width of the surface just beneath the brass gallery. Measurements: H 50.75" x W 103.5" x D 29.5"/ Zinc Cellarette Drawer 13"- x W 21-1/2" D x 20-1/2".The cellarette drawer is a 200 yr old Yeti!-used for ice and cooling bottled wine, champagne, etc. This rare piece started life in England in the first part of the 1800's. Considering that England will fit inside the state of Alabama, true English antiques are rare. The sideboard has some separation on top and sides-to be expected of a 200 year old true antique. Also, minor veneer losses. The last owner has a written appraisal for $8500.00. This sideboard will add history and elegance to any setting.
