Offered for sale is an antique French armchair in needlepoint. The style is Os du Mouton. The needlepoint back and seat cover is all hand made and exquisite colors-pale gold, salmon, green. The chair back features a medieval couple in a cartouche. The chair is very sturdy and sits comfortably. It measure H 43" x W 18" x D 17". Seat height is 19". The back of the chair is covered in a thin cotton with a tear in the lower right corner. I would replace the back with a complimentary soft velvet-easily done with 1 yard fabric and brass tacks.
